The single most important action that we must take at the present situation is to maximize reduction of infection load that gets into our body somehow or other. There is no scope of assuming that there is absolutely no chance of virus getting an entry to our body every day.

When we are in a coal mine we just cannot avoid coal dust getting smeared on our body. Hence maximize reduction of the entry of infection load so that our immune system can easily fight back.

What are the actions to be taken that are commonly known as COVID-19 protocol? Just to elaborate and expatiate on the points given here are as under:

A) Insulate as far as possible from the ambience.

B) Clean up the virus entry routes to our body meticulously viz. mouth, nasal passage & eyes. Since it is a virus and for its reproduction it requires living cell of our body and soon as it gets the entry first it colonizes for its multiplication, which takes about four to five days.

As such if we can maintain cleanliness of the aforesaid entry points meticulously the chance of viruses to colonize is largely avoided.

C) Strictly avoid touching mouth, nose and eyes with hands which act as guide of the virus to get the body's entry points.

D) Wear mask as soon as we are in a company of outsiders, even at house.

E) Occasionally wash hands with soap water and let it dry up on its own without using towel.

Strengthen our immune system

1) Do mild to moderate exercise to increase and augment blood circulation which helps in washing out toxins from our body. Higher we detox our body greater would be the strength of our immunity.

2) Hydrate the body sufficiently by drinking adequate liquid to flush out our system.

3) Ensure intake of adequate amount of vitamins and minerals viz vitamin C, D, B12, Iron, Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium etc. and also add protein to diet.

4) Have an exposure to sun rays at least for 20 to 30 minutes every day depending on the intensity of ray.

5) Must get good sleep.

6) Vaccinate.

Avoid news pollution

During the pandemic period we are getting a huge number of bad news where we are simply a helpless listener and we invariably become sad and worried which gradually erode our immunity.

As such insulate as far as possible from the bad news and remember 'No news is good news'.

 Last but not the least

In view of our social distancing at this period which is imperative, nevertheless through phone calls we can maintain our verbal interaction to sustain our emotional attachment which is equally important.
